Mawedaar Samose :
Mawedaar Samose An innovative festive sweet , samosas with a sweet nutty mawa filling……for a change
INGREDIENTS

For the samosa dough

Maida 2 cups
Sugar 1/2 cup
Ghee 2 tbsp.
Milk 2 tbsp
Oil for deep frying

For the mawedaar stuffing.

Mawa 500 gms.
Milk 2 tbsp
Sugar 4 tbsp.
Raisins 8-10 no.
Cashew nuts 4-5 Nos chopped
Elaichi powder ¼ teaspoon.

METHOD

  1.  Sift the flour add sugar, add in ghee, add milk / water and make a smooth dough; rest for 10 minutes
  2. For the stuffing moisten mawa with milk add sugar, nuts and elaichi powder. Mix well.
  3. Divide the rested dough into balls, roll out on a oiled surface as for poories, cut into half and form cones for filling.
  4. Stuff the prepared filling in the cones.Seal the edges with a little water.
  5. Deep fry the samosas in hot oil until golden brown. Drain and serve warm.
