Halwa Gajron Wala :
Halwa Gajaron Ka The all time favourite carrot halwa, enriched with nuts served warm
INGREDIENTS

Carrots 500 gms.
Sugar 500 gms
Ghee 1 cup
Milk 2 cups
Elaichi powder ½ teaspoon.
Cashewnuts 10-12 no.
Raisins 10-12 no.

METHOD

  1.  Wash, peel the carrots and grate them.
  2. In a thick bottomed kadai fry together the carrots and milk boil and lower the flame until all liquid is absorbed. (approx 25 min)
  3. Add the sugar and stir well.
  4. Add the ghee, mix well and continue stirring, add elaichi powder, mix well.(Fry 2-3 min)
  5. Remove from flame add nuts and portion out the halwa.Serve warm.
