Badami Kheer :
Badami Kheer A delectable Almond based sweet for a change, forget the cost ! for it's festive time
INGREDIENTS

Almonds 50 gms.
Milk 1 litre
Condensed milk 1 tin
Cashew nuts 50 gms.
Almond Essence ΒΌ teaspoon
Silver warq 1 No. for garnish.

METHOD

  1. Blanch the almonds and remove their skins.
  2. Soak them along with cashew nuts in 2 cups of warm milk for 30 mins, grind it to a fine paste along with the milk.
  3. Heat the remaining milk and boil, add the condensed milk and ground almond paste, stir continuously for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Remove from flame and add the almond essence, check for sweetness.
  5. Serve warm or chilled, garnished with silvered almonds and silver warq.
