Vada Dahiya Mein :
VADA DAHIYA MEIN These are Sindhi dahi vadas often served at lunches & dinners

INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE VADAS
Urad dal : 1 cup (white)
Ginger : 1 inch piece
Jeera seeds : 1/2 tsp
Green chillies : 3-4 nos
Oil : for deep frying.

FOR THE DAHI
Prepared Dahi : 2 cups
Salt : to taste
Red Chilli powder : 1/2 tsp
Jeera crushed : 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves : 2 tbsp chopped
Chaat masala : 1/2 tsp

METHOD

  1. Wash & soak the urad dal in water for 3-4 hours, drain and grind to a fine paste, use a little water if desired, add in all the other ingredients mix well, deep fry vadas in hot oil until golden brown, drain and keep aside.
  2. Beat up the curds well, add a little water if desired
  3. Soak the vadas in a little water squeeze well and add to the beaten curds.
  4. Arrange all the vadas in the curds
  5. Sprinkle the chaat masalas on top and garnish with coriander leaves chill & serve!
