Patate Ja Tuk :
PATATE JA TUK This is a Sindhi speciality potato preparation, potatoes fried twice pressed and flavoured with dry masalas!

INGREDIENTS:

Boiled/Raw Potatoes : 3-4 nos
Oil : for deep frying
Salt : to taste
Pepper powder : 1 tsp
Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
Jeera powder : 1 tsp
Chaat masala or Amchur powder : 1/2 tsp

METHOD

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into thick dices
  2. Fry in hot oil once, remove and using a kitchen cloth, press it down to form a disc.
  3. Again fry the pressed potato in hot oil until golden brown
  4. Drain on kitchen paper
  5. Sprinkle all dry masala and salt on top.
  6. Serve hot!
