The Sindhishaan team, since the past few months has seen an upsurge in enthusiasm and I am sure the same would not have missed your attention. The community's website, www.sindhishaan.com has been working towards regular updates and a testimony to the fact that the site has a lot to offer to our community is the growing list of members, which in the last four months has seen a meteoric rise. I would like to take this opportunity to first thank all our existing members who have spread a good word about the SINDHISHAAN initiatives, and the results are showing. The core team of Sindhishaan exudes enthusiasm in serving the cause of our cultural revival through your website - Sindhishaan, your magazine - Sindhishaan, your community communiqué - Prerna, through your soon-to-be-releases TV series - Sindhiyun ja Mela, and it only further encourages us that in this struggle for success, our main team of Sindhishaan, which includes all you members, is only rising.

We have recently launched Prerna - The community communiqué - a monthly newsletter service for our members. Please become a part of it. There are various articles and interviews mentioned in it and a discussion forum. Though we have been receiving accolades from a few members on our initiative of Prerna - through which we hope Sindhi members can be inspired, the response on an honest note, has been fairly lacklustre and a few notches below our expectations. We want the members to come to the Discussion Forum of Prerna and voice their opinions and begin a debate on the topic of the month, and we promise we will have your voice heard by the community and hopefully it shall make a difference. Please subscribe to Prerna, if you haven't already, ask your friends in the community to subscribe as well and become a part of this endeavour.

We at Sindhishaan have been striving doubly hard to keep our members well informed about various Sindhi cultural events taking place all over, but this could be further effective through the generous contributions from our members in India and overseas. Please inform us of any upcoming events for your website's event calendar section. We would highly appreciate and welcome feedback from your side, on how we can make the website look better or if we should include any new sections on the website, any upcoming event or Sindhi poems. Please give us your feedback and contribution on absolutely anything and everything!!! You have every right to!!!.

We would appreciate if there can be editorial contributions in the form of articles from your side for the website, magazine and the newsletter. Voice your opinion in the message board section of our website. There are different topics in the section that can provide a platform for debate and interacting with new people. Announce your son's birthday or wish someone on his or her birthday or on their anniversary in this section as well as send an E-card to your loved and dear ones.
Let your search for the ideal life partner commence with us. Our effort is to help you make the right beginning. Our global database of prospective spouses could well mean meeting a match with similar backgrounds or shared interests. Log on to our matrimonial section for the ideal bride and groom.
Have a look at the photographic depiction of the rich Sindhi culture in the spotlight section and if you have any photographs that you believe would help the members of the community in knowing about their community and its culture, send it across and you shall find it in Spotlight.
The housewives (or even the men) can send in their favourite delicious Sindhi recipes and we will gladly put them on the site. After all the website is yours and all these invaluable contributions from you will help us serve you better.
