AN APPEAL TO THE HEADS OF STATE OF ALL MUSLIM COUNTRIES
The message I am sending is in the form of an appeal to all the heads of state of the Muslim world to mobilize their efforts to help us in freeing our captive brothers in Beirut. These poor people have nothing to do with politics, they were there just to make their living. “The majority of the human race in this world struggles for survival only.” whereas the world is being exploited in the name of religion.
Islam is a great religion, it is an idealistic and most modest religion, it never preaches hatred for one another, it never preaches hatred for other religions, it carries the message of love and brotherhood. Islam and all other religions in this global world proclaim, “There is only one, but one GOD.” It means the theme of all the religions is the same, 'ONE GOD'. One tree with several branches. There may be millions of ways to pray, thousands of languages using different names, Almighty, Allah, God, Ram or Shayam, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Merciful and what not, but the perception is 'One'. He listens and understands mumbling voices of all languages, all religions. He is the Master of the Entire Creation.
Then why is there a fight in the name of religion; maximum killings and atrocities are done in the name of religion. All religions almost preach the same doctrine – One God, don't steal, don't lie, don't hurt, don't cheat, don't look at your neighbor's wife, love your family, respect your neighbor, so on and so forth. Then why is there so much turmoil in the name of religion?
The religion that we have is by virtue of our birth, by virtue of the family in which a child is born. The child born in a Muslim family becomes Muslim, in Sikh family becomes Sikh, a child born in a Christian family becomes Christian and born in a Hindu family becomes Hindu. The child inculcates the habits of the family and follows the tradition of the family in which he takes birth. Now tell me who will claim my religion, nationality, race or color is superior. We all are human beings, creation of One God.
Thousands of children born in famine hit African deserts died without food and water. Will someone tell us what kind of religion they had, superior or inferior!
According to the Islamic Holy Book Quran, it says “RAB-EL-ALMEEN”. It means God is for Entire Creation of Mankind, it has never said “RAB-EL-MUSLIMEEN”, God is only for Muslims.
Please let us forget our differences, let us work together for the betterment of mankind and world peace.
Americans are the same human beings. Most broad minded and tolerant people. We have people from all over the world with different religions. but live under the one banner of America. The entire nation will help you out in resolving your problems. America is the greatest democratic country in the world, it has open doors for all the nationalities and all the religions, all sects, all colors. Tell us which country has people from all nations, from A to Z. We have Arabs, we have Iranians, we have Libyans, we have Russians, we have Romanians. Not only that, but every race and region have places of their own to worship – churches, mosques, temples, freedom for all religions. It is the greatest society with opportunities for everyone, irrespective of caste, color and religion; and even then you brand us as a Zionist and imperialistic society? Freedom of press, everyone is accountable to the law of the land. Please visit our country and you will like it. Please help us release our captive friends; their children, their wives, their mothers are anxiously waiting for their loved ones.
Look at Lebanon, not long ago a very beautiful country, Christians and Muslims were living together in peace for centuries. Now, ravaged by War, looks deserted, innocent people are dying in camps for want of food. These sacrifices will bring no results. In this nuclear era, guns will never bring results, but only destruction.
The price is too heavy, it is not worth it at the cost of innocent children, mothers, old, poor and ignorant people.
Please tell the captors to keep their guns down and release our hostages. We are ready to help them; we Americans are good people, the same human beings as they are!
In the name of Almighty Allah and in the name of humanity, this is my request to all of you.
My greatest religion is serving the needy, ill, less fortunates, feeding the hungry, and bringing smiles to broken hearts.
